into The News Reporter for the N.C. Pecan Harvest Festival.
Originally created as a promotional event by the Whiteville Downtown
Development Commission (WDDC), the festival became the N.C. Pecan
Harvest Festival in 2003 when the N.C. Pecan Growers Association
partnered with WDDC and local promoters to enhance the annual event.
